6 Ways Get Rid Of Acne Blackheads
Blackheads make you frustrated and annoying. In severe cases even they can stop you going to parties, functions and enjoying your life. They are a caution sign for pimples and acne. Blackheads are caused when sebum (the skin's natural oil) collects and hardens in the pores. The congesting toxins that are being expelled through your skin from the blood and lymph fluid combines with sebum creating a pasty glue. The exposed tip becomes oxidized and black, hence the name - blackheads. Oily and combination skins are most susceptible to these. The skin's most dense oil glands are located in T-zone. That is why there you get the most blackheads. Those awful blackheads seem so difficult to get rid of! What is worse, if you don't remove the blackheads, they can spread out. Usually, blackheads appear on the nose and on the cheeks but did you know that aside from your face, these unsightly blackheads can appear on your arms, chest and back too? Below is some advice about how to get rid of blackheads and avoid the ghastly things altogether.
1. Irritating your skin with harsh chemicals and special skin scrubbing cloths actually causes more acne problems because your skin reacts to these chemicals by trying to repair the damage you've done, clogging your pores with puss and naturally occurring oils.
2. Some people try removing them by squeezing, pricking with a needle, pin or tweezers. This is the worst thing people do to their delicate facial skin that makes the condition worst. Not only is it unhygienic but it also aggravates the spread of skin disorders.
3. Sunshine or ultra-violet light encourages skin peeling, and so helps to clear blocked pores. So sunbathing or use of sun-beds in moderation can be helpful. Avoid washing the face with soaps more than twice a day. Instead wash your face often with plain water splashes.
4. Since blackheads are caused by clogged pores, making sure that your skin is clean will lessen the risk of getting blackheads and stop the existing ones from getting worse. Aside from dirt and dust, neglecting to remove make-up is one of the major causes of blackhead growth.
5. Moisturizing your face with a damp, warm cloth in the evening can help get rid of blackheads. Simply put the damp cloth over your face for a period of 15-25 minutes each night, to help loosen and dissolve dead skin, dirt, and other pore clogging particles. This is one of the best natural acne treatment.
6. Mix almond powder or oatmeal with rose water and make a soft paste. Gently rub it on your face, leave it for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
