It is recommended to avoid the usage of other medicated products, if you are using BP wash. While using any kind of benzoyl peroxide product, products containing alcohol, especially if you have very sensitive skin. Most perfumes, after shaves and the likes have alcohol as their main ingredient.
If you think cannot live without perfume or make up, apply it scarcely and if possible find non alcohol based products. There are plenty out there.
