Five Simple Steps To Fantastic Windows
If you think your windows and curtains have become dull and lifeless, there is a solution to that. Etched glass window film is far more budget-friendly than having your windows remodeled and it is very easy to set up. This is a kind of Do It Yourself project that you can finish in a matter of minutes and without even making a sweat. This static cling window film bonds to the window quite easily. You would not have to worry about positioning it perfectly on the window because it is non-sticky and you can easily correct it to your liking.
There are several designs that would make your windows look spectacular. Just choose the one that is most suitable for your windows. Before purchasing the decorative stained glass window film, make sure that you measure out the surface area of the window that you are going to apply it to. Give some allowance on the final measurement so you have adequate material to work with. As soon as you are done cutting the proper length and width, try it on the window surface to see if the cut piece is an acceptable fit, especially if you intend to cover the full glass area. Your static cling window film is now set up. Prepare other tools such as water with soap and a squeegee, and you are ready to begin.
In just five easy steps, you can see a dramatic improvement in your bare windows:
1. The full glass surface should be totally clean. Make sure you get rid of any dust, dirt, mud, or any other matter that might have stuck on the glass. You can use a soft cloth dipped in soapy water. A window bath is to ensure good adherence of the film on the glass.
2. Use a liberal amount of soapy water on the glass surface using the hand spray. This would work as an adhesive or glue for your static cling window film.
3. Detach the window film from its paper backing. You can begin peeling it off in one of the corners. Keep the paper backing in case you decide to reuse the window film. This is an important feature of static cling window film that it can be recycled any time according to need.
4. Stick the fillm to the wet glass using your hands. If you are covering a broad surface, you can ask someone to help you if you like. But since it is static cling film, you need not worry about fixing it in the right position immediately. Whether the film you want to use is for decorative accents, centerpieces, or borders, it is no trouble aligning laterally on the surface as long as it is still wet. No glue or messy adhesive is needed.
5. Once you get the position right, use a squeegee in eliminating the surplus water and air bubbles. You want your decorative window film to be plastered smoothly on the glass, making it look as if it came with the glass originally.
Your window is now set up to impress visitors. Actually, what is tough about window films is not in installing it, but in choosing what decorative film to use. There are simply so many beautiful designs that it is difficult to decide what you liked best, be it stained glass window film, etched glass window film, frosted window film, privacy window film or see through window film.

The film is on the inside and outside of the windows, I have used Windex and paper towels over and over, and it is still there. It looks as thought I tried to clean the windows in the hot sun, and it has left streaks, but that is not the case. I have cleaned the windows in my garage.
