William K. Rowell - Partner

Bill has been involved in many different companies and industries in his professional career, but is concentrating on his core competency of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Starting out in pharmaceutical manufacturing at Rowell Laboratories in the 1977, he has worked in manufacturing of both solids, liquids and ointments. Additionally, he has worked in QC, QA, and R&D where he worked on formulations for various Rx and OTC products. From 1985 - 1988 he worked at CREOL, the Center For Research in Electro Optics and Lasers, where he researched, designed, tested and manufactured devices used in LASER research of non-linear crystals, high pressure discharge LASER tubes, and ND-Yag LASER firing mechanisms.

In 1988, Bill joined Medical Inventors Corp. to head up the Quality Control department. While there, he developed IP for manufacturing processes, QC specs, manufacturing formulations, and later worked in new product development. In 1989, Bill joined Rowell Capital Partners and has become a principle in a number of companies in various industries. He has been involved in the management, growth, merger, acquisition, and sale of numerous companies, including LASER bar code reader manufacturing; license holder and broadcaster for UHF television; television, video, and multimedia production, residential & commercial real estate development, construction, acquisition and management; manufacturing for the construction industry, general commercial offset printing; and other areas. Bill has a BS degree in Physics from the University of Central Florida.

Theodore H. Rowell - Advisor

Ted is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive having spent the bulk of his career building a healthcare company from a start-up to public status and then as an active venture investor through a family investment fund. Mr. Rowell started his career with Rowell Laboratories, Inc., a family owned business incorporated in 1935. Joining the company in 1956, Mr. Rowell led this small midwest pharamaceutical company through its merger in 1985 with Reid Provident Laboratories creating a national pharmaceutical company Reid-Rowell. Reid-Rowell was a NASDAQ listed pharmaceutical company specializing in digestive disease treatments. Mr. Rowell was Chairman of Reid-Rowell until its acquisition by Solvay Pharmaceuticals in 1986 when he transitioned out of day to day operations and became a member of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Rowell formed Rowell Capital Partners in 1986 to leverage his lifetime of operational and leadership expertise. By combining his expertise with direct investing in privately held companies in the medical and manufacturing fields, Mr. Rowell has continued to identify and build companies with significant growth and shareholder return. For over 20 years, Mr. Rowell has continued to be an active investor through Rowell Capital Partners as well as providing management consulting guidance to emerging growth technology and manufacturing firms.
